LS Mtron (CEO SHIN Chai-Ho), a company under LS Group specializing in industrial machinery and high-tech parts, announced on the 27th that it had held a completion ceremony for the new plant for Land Solutions, a tractor and agricultural machinery manufacturer, in Gimje in the presence of 200 people including Jeong Seong-Ju, mayor of Gimje, Lee Won-Taeg, member of the National Assembly, Gimje CityCouncil ChairmanKim Young-ja, Yoo Jae-Yeol, head of the Gimje Free TradeZone Office under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, SeonGwang-Ju, CEO of Land Solutions, and Shin Chai-Ho, CEO of LS Mtron.

LAND SOLUTIONS was established in June 2022 under a joint venture contract between LS Mtron and domestic agricultural machinery manufacturer Woongjin Machinery to produce tractors and agricultural machinery. The name contains the meaning of proposing all kinds of agricultural solutions to customers.It boasts the first continuous eco-friendly chemical painting facilities to meet global quality levels and an annual production capacity of 20,000 agricultural machines on a site of 15,550 pyeong in the Gimje Free Trade Zone.

It will produce front loaders, backhoes, and mid-mowers, and the goal is sequential mass production of these products starting in August.The agricultural machines, which attach to small tractors with a range of 20 to 40 hp, are women-friendly products that are easy even for women to use, and they can be used in various ways for home landscaping and farm management.All the products produced by Land Solutions will be exported to North America, the main market of LS Mtron.With the completion of Land Solutions, LS Mtron has laid an important cornerstone for the growth of its tractor business as it can expand sales of the main bodies of tractors while also improving its ability to supply agricultural machinery.
