2013 Femagri Cooxupe

Femagri (Guaxupe, Minas Gerais) Coffee Farm machinery show was held during Mar. 13th ~15th.
Nevertheless the dropping Coffee price recently, the show (its 12th) was very successful with
over 20 thousands visitors and R$70M sales numbers.
The show organizer “Cooxupe” is the world biggest coffee cooperation
with 12 thousands members and make over R$3 Billion annually.
I found some coffee trees in the middle of way to Guaxupe.
There is mostly big coffee farm plantation in Brazil but, this kind of small farms exist as well.

It is impressive to see some coffee trees in many places of the exhibition booth.
Brazil coffee industry has been largely mechanized as it has so many big coffee plantations.
Brazil uses machines for coffee cherry picking while the others still do hand-picking.
Most of visitors are coffee farmers.
